Protesters showed their disapproval of Akin at the press conference. Planned Parenthood spokesperson Michelle Trupiano says Akin is not right for Missouri.

The Senate Conservatives Fund endorsed the Akin campaign Thursday and will give the campaign 290-thousand dollars. Akin says this endorsement makes sense.

It was not all positive for Akin on Thursday. Members of Planned Parenthood and the Missouri National Organization for Women showed their disapproval of Akin at the press conference saying he is not right for Missouri.
