JEFFERSON CITY - Missouri state Rep. Maria Chappelle-Nadal says she's 99 percent sure she will be going to the Democratic National Convention without endorsing a presidential candidate. And she's not alone.
The House Immigration Committee met to hear several bills when Democratic Representive Maria Chappelle-Nadal from St. Louis offered her own perspective.
"I'm looking at my city with the for-rent signs and the for-sale signs, and I really would like people to live in those areas," said Rep. Maria Chappelle-Nadal, D-St. Louis County. "I don't care if they're legal or not; I just want them to pay their bills."
