SB 220 Sponsor:Kehoe, Mike Status: S Perfection Description: Shorten the number of weeks for which a person can collect unemployment compensation if the state's unemployment rate drops below nine percent. Make the number of weeks of eligibility a sliding scale based on the unemployment rate to as low as 13 weeks. The governor vetoed a similar bill, SB 673, in 2014. The override vote passed the Senate but failed in the House.

HCS SB 231 Sponsor:Kehoe, Mike Status: GOVERNOR SIGNED Description: Reduce from two to one B1 fire extinguisher if on some types of motorboats if the motorboat has a fixed fire extinguishing system. Current law requires either two B1 extinguishers or one B1 type on class 2 motorboats.
