Require drug testing of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) welfare recipients suspected of illegal drug use. Cut off benefits to those who test positive. The SCS restricts a required drug test to only if a welfare worker files a child abuse complaint against the recipient based on suspected drugs around the child.

Description:
The SS and HCS extend Workers' Compensation to cover occupational diseases, preventing in some cases a worker from suing an employer for extra damage awards for an occupational disease. The original bill would exempt from lawsuit liability damages to a worker caused by negligence by a co-employee, in some cases. The Senate adopted the CCS on the last day of the session, but it was never taken up by the House.
