Let a local government put on the ballot a proposal to repeal a sales tax imposed on a resident's purchase of a motor vehicle from a source not located in Missouri at any time. Current law authorized a repeal vote no later than Nov. 2016. If voters rejected the repeal, any existing tax would be continued.
