The House-amended version exempts use of explosives from noise-nuisance lawsuits in some cases such as use under a federal permit. Also exempt explosive use from nusiance noise ordinances if regulated by a state law on explosives.

HCB 10 Sponsor:Engler, Kevin Status: S Insurance & Banking Description: Extend the right of an insurance company to exclude suicide from a life insurance policy within one year of issuance to include any rider, endorsement or amendment. Not assigned to a Senate committee until the day before the session's last day. Also exempt state fair board members in a specific county from having to have liability insurance for festivals. The bill contains other unrelated insurance issues. Include a long-term care rider of a life insurance polcy to qualify for a financial-assistance program for Medicaid recipients.
