Missouri officials grilled by law makers for the purchase of recent plane

The Highway Patrol superintendent told a senate committee that the plane was a good business deal because of the amenities, warranty and it can fly long ranges.

Then later in the day, the highway state patrol superintendent told a Senate comittee they needed an additional plane for both the governor and for purposes like moving criminals.

Republican Senator Ryan Silvey says his biggest concern is the "lack of a process".
