Republicans in the state Capitol are pushing legislation that could make it more difficult for people to report illegal activity they see at work.

Wrap: The bill would allow people to sue their employers if they are punished for witnessing illegal activity at work.

But Democratic Representative Jeff Roorda says that it would only protect the first people to report a crime, not any potential bystanders.
