Wrap: After hearing questions about President Obama's citizenship, the House Election Committee passed a bill that would require presidential candidates to prove their citizenship to be on the Missouri ballot.

The bill sponsor says the measure is a response to controversy surrounding the current president.

St. Louis County Democrat Representative Stacey Newman voted against the bill. She says it’s a silly piece of legislation.
