From now on February 6th will be Ronald Reagan Day in the state of Missouri.
Republican Representative Bob Dixon proposed a resolution to honor the man he describes as an American hero.
Legislators in the House passed the resolution despite hearing concerns from Democratic Representative Beth Low.
Low says that there is a better way to celebrate the life of President Reagan.

Democratic Representative Beth Low oppposed the resolution because she says there is a better way to honor the former President.
Low says the answer is legislative support for a bigger issue.
