Some prominent Missouri lobbyists say the state's GOP legislature and Democratic governor will not have much effect on their jobs.

John Britton, lobbyist for Anheuser-Busch, Inc. and Missouri Housing Authorities, says he is hopeful this system works because he says it has before.

Lobbyist Harry Gallagher  says it is too soon to tell, but he doesn't expect a major impact on his business with the upcoming change in legislature. He says, however, that state funding could be a topic of disagreement.
