Sen. Chris Koster will pursue the same legislative agenda as a Democrat that he did as a Republican.

Koster hopes his switch will allow him to address the issues that didn't gain ground before.

Description: I think that what needs to happen is that good ideas need to be allowed to come to the floor.  If good ideas come to the floor and they are debated in the light of day, I think Missourians will demand that they, these ideas be passed.

In the upcoming legislative session, Koster will focus on overhauling Medicaid, addressing Medicaid fraud, and cracking down on employers who hire illegal immigrants.
