Senator pushes Eminent Domain reform

A constitutional amendment to combat Eminent Domain abuse could soon be on the ballot.

Tim Walker has more form the Jefferson City.

Senator Kevin Engler, a republican from Farmington, wants to let the people of Missouri vote on Eminent Domain reform.

Engler proposed a constitutional amendment to ban the use Eminent Domain for private redevelopment.

He warned the legislature that if it doesn't act, the people will.

The proposed amendment comes shortly after the Governor's Task Force proposed its recommendations for Eminent Domain reform.
