The Senate votes to tax sex in Missouri.

Dan Frumson has more from the state Capitol.

Republican Matt Bartle of Jackson County says Missouri lost its ability to place regulations on sexually oriented businesses.

The legislation calls for a five dollar admission fee and twenty percent gross receipt tax.

Bartle says the bill is not in violation of 1st amendment rights because Missouri's Gambling Boats call for the same kind taxation that this bill imposes.
