A bill to rewrite MAP test restrictions is on it's way to the Governor's desk

Legislators are sending a bill to Governor Holden that aims to rewrite the state's MAP testing guidelines.

Republican Senator Gary Nodler supports the legislation that would make Missouri's reporting standards the same as those of the Fedreal government in the No Child Left Behind Act.

"I was discouraged to have excellent schools, sometimes nationally recognized schools with excellent academic progress being misreported to as failing to meet their annual progress requirements."
