Nixon Upset Over Passage of Bond Amendment

A legislative war is brewing over the use of land in the Mark Twain National Forest. Kyle Elfrink has the story from Jefferson City.

Attorney General Jay Nixon is upset that an amendment sponsored by Senator Kit Bond has been approved. The disputed bill allows for lead mining to continue in the Mark Twain National Forest. Scott Holste, spokesman for Nixon, says that Bond is overlooking a certain issue ...
