Fall colors more vivid this year

Mother nature will color with more vivid shades of red, yellow, and orange this year says state foresters.

Jennifer Sheffield has the story in Jefferson City.

Thanks to rain and cool temperatures following an August drought, the Conservation Department predicts brighter fall colors.

If you want to see the foliage from your car, the department recommends Highway 94 between St. Louis and Jefferson City.
