St. Louis Auto Exhaust Measure Defeated

The Missouri House defeated a measure that would have consolidated auto exhaust inspections for the St. Louis area. Rebecca Rausch has the story from Jefferson City.

The bill would have provided funding for a program to mandate citizens of St. Louis to have vehicle emissions testing every two years to improve air quality.

Opponents argued the bill would be inconvenient and ineffective.
