House Speaker Pro Tem Fletcher Daniels is sponsoring a bill to keep riverboat gambling on the river, Jack Dolan has the story in Jefferson City.

Daniels says gaming companies plan to float casinos on man made ponds surrounded by city streets. He says regular businesses are already suffering from competition with casinos.
